BECOME A MEMBER
The amount of the recycling fee corresponds to current financial and technological demands and the recycling process in the Czech Republic of individual groups of electro equipment collection. The participants contribute to the compliance scheme depending on the number of pieces of electro equipment they put on the market.
Amount of recycling fees from 1. 9. 2023
On July 28, 2023, the operator of the collective system EKOLAMP received approval from the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic to extend the authorization to also include solar panels. Following this, we are introducing a new item in the tariff of recycling contributions with effect from September 1, 2023, in accordance with clause 7.5 of the current version of the General Conditions of Participation in the EKOLAMP Collective System. The amount of the recycling contribution was set at CZK 3.50 per kilogram of solar panels placed on the market. You can find the full new recycling fee schedule effective from 1 September 2023 here.

Refunds
Everyone (participant and third party) is entitled to a refund of the recycling fee if they have taken EEE from the market in the territory of the Czech Republic. Withdrawal from the market means the export of EEE to countries outside the Czech Republic. In this case, they can ask EKOLAMP for a refund of the fee paid.
