The take-back system is financed through a recycling contribution and a system contribution to cover fixed costs for data management, contract updates, information system administration and development, and activities related to reporting data to the Ministry of the Environment and other institutions. The contribution for recycling is a financial amount that manufacturers and importers of electrical equipment contribute to the collection, collection and processing of non-functional electrical equipment.
The amount of the contribution in 2026 corresponds to the current financial and technological demands of the collection and recycling process of individual groups of electrical equipment on the territory of the Czech Republic. Participants contribute to the collective system according to the number of pieces (or weight) of electrical equipment that they put on the market.
